What is EditShare?

Your EditShare system is a Network Attached Storage (NAS) server or group of servers with hardware and software that is highly optimized for video editing. It provides a networked file system for both media files and metadata that enables multiple editors to collaborate on projects. Editors can work with the same media files, bins, and sequences in a controlled fashion that limits the opportunities for editors to accidentally or maliciously interfere with each others' work.

The EditShare NAS can only access within Warf-Pickel Hall Computer labs 103, 419 and 523. Due to the high bandwidth requirements, the EditShare NAS cannot mount from any other locations.

An account on the EditShare servers must be created using your ETSU domain username before you can gain access.
