Preparing Files for the ETSU Dropbox

The following article will guide you through the steps to send messages and attachments using the ETSU Dropbox.  The ETSU Dropbox ( allows files under 2GB in size to be shared with individuals both on and off campus.

The following settings should be used for files you wish to share via ETSU Dropbox.  H.264 encoding will provide a compressed, yet high quality archival file.  The format is useful for any footage you would like to archive, especially useful for files you do not plan to use in future edits and if you are limited on storage space.  The high compression rate of this file type allows for relatively small file sizes (~80MB per Minute), which are necessary when sharing files via the internet and the ETSU Dropbox.
